Bring it Home:: Pink for the Holidays

Lonny Mag Blue Holiday Dining Table

If you don’t happen to own a separate set of red, green, and gold everything for the holidays – don’t fret! Any color palette in your home decor can be translated for the festivities. I (Cristina) was especially inspired by Camille’s Merry Berry Christmas inspiration, and decided to take her up on the challenge by going pink (and blue!) for the holidays. Follow the jump to see the tree decked in all of its girly glory…

If you’re starting fresh and decorating your own home and tree for the first time (like me!), hanging ornaments in one color palette can make a very glamorous statement. And even if you have acquired boxes of decor over the years, you can add some unconventional color to your traditional wreath and tree simply by adding a ribbon in a bold shade.

I love hanging wreaths in front of windows, where they serve double duty as decor that can be seen both inside and out. And adding a ribbon to a wreath sounds like a 5-minute DIY we can all handle!

Even if the boy in your life nixes such an abundance of pink in your shared space…a girl can dream, right?

Aw, this is wonderful. It’s very true though, you can incorporate nearly any colour into your Christmas decorating.

What is the “proper” thing to do when someone gives you ornaments out of scheme? And it happens to be the mother-in-law….

I’ve had that top picture saved on my computer for a while. I love the lamps on the table, wreathes in the window, and festive touches everywhere you turn!

Wasn’t that a pretty touch? Cristina always does the most amazing job of finding gorgeous rooms that we’ll ALL want to copy! ;)
