Since I’ve been using my style-savvy readers as a sounding board for holiday decor brainstorming, I thought it only fair to share a few shots of how it’s all coming together. A & I have pretty modern taste, but for the holidays I wanted our home to feel extra cozy & inviting with some traditional elements. Rather than adding lots of decorative details, I focused on a few statement-making pieces: a bold red blanket, white furry pillows, a tree decked in shimmering red & silver, and some very glam mirrored Christmas trees. Hurricane candles filled with fresh cranberries create a simple yet stunning display.
Instead of trying to cover a large television (impossible), let it blend into the rest of the decor by surrounding it with shiny, mirrored Christmas trees & frosted red votives.
For an unexpected & glamorous touch, I chose these brilliant fuschia stargazer lilies & surrounded them with white votives & crystal garlands… the flickering light bouncing off the crystals looks so magical for a dinner party!
