Flights of Fancy

Rosamund_Pike_Town_Country

Did y’all catch the gorgeous spread with English rose Rosamund Pike in this month’s Town & Country? Every single page is brimming with autumn romance, and this perfect image is one of many I’ve come across lately featuring birdcages as props for victorian-inspired interiors, parties and fashion. Feast your eyes on my favorites…

So what do you think? Would you incorporate a birdcage into your home or party decor?

I have a gorgeous bird cage that I got from south of France. I put candles in it during a dinner party near the entrance with a tray with a drink for guests to grab as they walk in! I’m a firm believer that bird cages are chic.

Rosamund Pike is drop-dead gorgeous. Our photographer, Nancy Nolan, was raving about this editorial last week, and I’m so happy to see it here. The colors are so rich and truly get me in the mood for fall and everything it brings–from falling leaves to boots to cozy sweaters

I was reading T&C on the plane and gasped when I saw this spread! First of all that Jason Wu dress has now become inspiration for my wedding dress, I adore the simple lace around the neckline!! Gorgeous!
