Okay, so maybe I overuse the word obsession just a teensy bit here on the blog. But I swear I’m not crying wolf this time. Ever since Ash (of The Byrd Collective) invited us for dinner and served ice cold scoops of this frosty lavender sorbet, I haven’t been able to think about much else. I can only describe the taste by saying it’s a sensation similar to eating flowers…albeit really sweet, delicious, non-poisonous ones. And that when I take a bite, I feel instantly transported to the most heavenly spa. Told you this is not your average sorbet! Of course I tracked it down at the grocery, and was thrilled to see that Savoy Sorbet makes all kinds of delicious flavors. I’m trying the chamomile-orange next. Or will it be the ginger-lemongrass? Or quite possibly the rosemary-rosé wine… (Follow the jump for more.)
Great pictures, Camille!! Lavender sorbet seems so different and delicious…I think I need to try this!
