Monochromatic Monday :: Greenhouse

Garden_Party_INspiration_Board_CamilleStyles

Happy Monday m’dears! I’ve always been a bit fascinated with greenhouses…their lush fauna, stacks of terra cotta pots and filtered light create such an air of romance, don’t you think? For today’s inspiration board, I’ve imagined a greenhouse as the backdrop to a mid-summer’s party, capturing the essence of the season but with a bit of shelter from the relentless sun we’re experiencing lately in Austin. A centerpiece of mismatched apothecary bottles and jars simply filled with fern fronds; delicate glasses fizzing with herb-infused cocktails; and a menu brimming with seasonal produce served at its simplest. I think it all comes together for a look that’s effortless and shows off summer’s best features. What are all of your ideas for a greenhouse-inspired fĂȘte?

    Such a pretty roundup. I was cruising country homes (a frequent activity) yesterday and saw a beautiful cottage in Bucks County, PA with a greenhouse attached. I wanted to drop everything to go see it.

    It would be so fun to throw a party in one!

    Love the two pieces from Rifle Paper Co. and those vintage feeling champagne coupes. Pretty choices.

    Beautiful! LOVE the mismatched apothecary jars, though I think that could be a lovely centerpiece anywhere!

    I love those colors together. They are so fresh and inspiring and lovely. Also those apothecary jars are fantastic. Wishin’ I had a greenhouse!
