Around this time every year, I start dreaming of the ocean. Just as it gets cold enough to pull out my winter coat, I can’t seem to stop thinking about strolling in the surf with the hot sun on my shoulders. Can anyone sympathize? Today’s inspiration board is meant to take us away for a moment, and after all, it’s not too early to start planning springtime showers and birthday fêtes! I love this look for an all-girls’ event, as there’s something decidedly ladylike about whispering shades of aqua and tiffany blue. A polka dot skirt with peep-toe heels, a perfect china cup full of rich cocoa and an assortment of tea sandwiches laid perfectly on a teal platter are all the makings for a pretty and proper afternoon full of lovely details. Hope you’re all having a lovely Monday morning…we have some special posts lined up this week that I just can’t wait to share with you!

Beautiful colour inspiration! Love the soft hues.
Gorgeous! My room at home is this color and lavender…it is so relaxing and beautiful!
I’m kind of obsessed with this palette right now too! I painted this last month and named it “sea glass”. Love your blog; I read it everyday!

I love this color palette. I totally agree about dreaming of the ocean during this time of year. I keep researching vacations pretending I may just hop on a jet to some tropical destination! Your inspiration board definitely gives a moment of peace and dreaming of the sea. xo
Oh I’m sooo glad! You should definitely book that flight, too.
This color is so pretty! Thanks for the Spring inspiration, I need to get some light pastels into my rotation.
Beautiful color palette.

In love with these colors. (:
stunning! always look forward to mondays on here:)
I love the minty MIDI with the neutral accessories, its so lady like and easy at the same time. The map and the books appeal to the book loved in me. There is nothing better than prettily bound books, right?
wow this is really beautiful – great shades and relaxing feel….
Camille, of all the Monochromatic Monday Posts I really think this could be my very favourite, I adore every single picture, I couldn’t pick just one!!
It really gives you a bit of ocean breeze if you stare at it for a while
Thank You! Hope you have a lovely week! *
