Monochromatic Monday :: Squash Blossoms

Squash Blossoms Fall Autumn Inspiration Mood Board Gourd Fashion

Last week I was kicking back at home with the TV programmed to Food Network (what else?), when one of my favorite celebrity chefs made some delectable stuffed squash blossoms. I’ve never given too much thought to the edible flowers, but I became suddenly inspired by their color… I realized that the green & yellow petals with fiery orange edges perfectly mimic the color pattern nature will be taking in the coming weeks, and I’m so excited for all that the seasonal transition brings. I can’t wait to sink my teeth into some sweet pumpkin pie cupcakes, and at the very top of my shopping list is a charming cable knit sweater. What are you most looking forward to this fall?

    I think you picked everything that I love about fall in this post. Cable knit sweaters? Yes. Pumpkin-flavored things? Yes. And the maxi skirts in those shades are to die for.
