No Boys Allowed

Happy hump-day, friends! For those of you who missed our exciting feature over on Snippet & Ink, I woke up with a skip in my step this morning with you in mind. We had the most wonderful girls’ afternoon at Camille’s a few weeks ago, when we invited over some creative ladies for a fabulous lunch, followed by a flower arranging class taught by The Byrd Collective. The details all married together so beautifully, and looking back on the event, we wouldn’t have changed a single thing. Keep reading for some of our favorite images, and to see how all our girly glam elements came together…

Picking a favorite aspect of this party proved nearly impossible. One moment we were enamored with the flowers, and the next we were obsessing over the table design. And just when the competition couldn’t get any stiffer, the beautiful (& delectable!) food by Any Style Catering came into the picture to totally throw us for a loop.

Fabric flower pom pins from Emerson Made were the perfect focal point of our place setting. Once our guests sat down, they wore the rhubarb pins throughout the meal & class, and then took the darling favors home.

This raspberry-pistachio cake with mascarpone icing was un-be-leivable (well, don’t just sit there staring… go make the darn thing!)

After lunch, we cleared our precious rococo table runner to reveal the butcher paper beneath and create a community workspace. Each guest traded in her place setting for a milk glass vase & some shears.
