Do you always plan your outfit based on the occasion… or do you ever lay eyes on a dress that’s so fabulous, you tweak your plans just to have an excuse to scoop it up (and then strut your stuff!) Luckily, my dream Valentine’s dress is so versatile, it would be just as perfect for a romantic dinner at home as it would be for a night out with the girls. The cutout back is a little bit daring while the lace and flared skirt keep it totally timeless. So what other must-haves would make this February 14th the most romantic one yet? Modern cupid-inspired notecards to pen little love notes, classic novels for a midday lunch in the park, afternoon chocolate indulgences…then great-smelling bath treats and an extra-bold nail color to make getting ready feel extra special. And my evening plans? I’ll pass up a busy restaurant in favor of a cozy dinner in front of the fire with my sweetheart, curled up with something decadent like a cheese plate and champagne, followed by wild mushroom ravioli and then more chocolate, of course. What do you have on the agenda this Thursday? And the even bigger question… what are you planning to wear?
