Science Lessons

the anatomy of a cupcake

Growing up, science was never my strong suit in school… but that’s because it was never this cute! I’m totally obsessing over this sweet ‘Anatomy of a Cupcake‘ poster, and can’t think of a happier image to start my lazy Sunday with. Tomorrow kicks off another crazy week as we prep for a totally glamorous styled shoot on Thursday, so today I’ll be taking it easy. And after staring at this diagram, I’ll definitely have to make time to whip up a batch of tasty cupcakes (any suggestions?). Finally, a biology lesson I can understand!

That is so cute! It’d be pretty awesome too to make one of those watercolor botany prints – like the kinds you see of a fruit cut in half – but with a cupcake! Hmm… that may have to be a winter project for me….

That is so incredibly adorable and interesting on so many levels lol. I couldn’t agree with you more, i dislike science and math, not my strong points. I’m artsy like you! go super woman!

This is pretty cool. Before I make anything I measure out all the ingredients and lay them out but certainly not this pretty!
