I started with two people on my shopping list: my dad (super hard to buy for) and my assistant editor Chanel (easy to buy for, but I know she’s been on the hunt for a new watch!) Next up, a fun series of questions to help customize the watch to the person’s lifestyle and personality. My dad would definitely want a watch he could wear on hiking or fishing trips, and Chanel – although not exactly a gadget-obsessed girl – does spend quite a bit of time working on the computer.

It was kind of funny that the gift finder identified my dad as “The Classic Dad” – which is fitting, and I think he’s going to be receiving the “Classic Strap” watch. I’m still debating between the “Classic Dress Mesh Bracelet” and the “Expansion Band Mother of Pearl” for Chanel. Which do you guys prefer?
