Morning, y’all! (we are talking about Austin today, after all!) Last month, as you may remember, I co-hosted The Cream event, a wedding showcase featuring the raddest crop of people in weddings. From floral designers to photographers to graphic designers, these artists came together to create one heck of a party, brimming with inspiration for the super hip bride and groom. I was thrilled to emcee the fashion show featuring the most drool-worthy dresses from BHLDN, and ended the night by guest judging the out-of-control dance party with the girls from 100 Layer Cake. By the way, does the lovely lady up top look familiar (other than bearing a striking resemblance to Cinderalla?) It’s none other than our very own Jess, modeling for The Byrd Collective’s fairy-tale setup. Keep reading for my favorite details from the evening, shot beautifully by Paige Newton…
Ash created a build-your-own arrangement setup, allowing guests to choose their favorite flowers for a sweet little custom bouquet. Wouldn’t that be the perfect activity and favor at a bridal shower?
She also created the anemone-filled arrangement adorning 100 Layer Cake’s table, and styled her own area as a romantic vision in blue and gold.
Gorgeous one-of-a-kind pieces from Loot Vintage Rentals provided chic lounging all around Mercury Hall (which just so happens to be one of my fave Austin venues.)
Beautiful stationery from The Creative Parasol and a pop-up BHLDN boutique.
Such a fun and beautiful night… kudos to all the creative peeps who made it happen!

Gorgeous! I love that dress! Favorite detail is the vintage comb to hold the place card. So pretty!
Oh so pretty, and Jess looks so so lovely!
So beautiful! I love the colors and I wore a fur stole during my wedding reception, just like the one Jess is wearing!
Part of our wedding decor was a tower that held about 20 small galvanized buckets which we filled with loose bunches of farmer’s market flowers. At the end of the reception we had Kraft paper and ribbon so guests could make their own bouquets to take home, it was a big hit!
Such a great experience! I want to go back!
The event looked gorgeous. I love the idea of building your own bouquet. Jess looked beautiful as always!
