I’m counting the days ’til next week’s trip to Napa and can hardly wait for the breathtaking views, gorgeous vineyards, & culinary adventures. At least that’s how I imagine it… since it’s my first trip to Northern Cali, it’s time to start planning my getaway wardrobe.
I’m thinking neutral colors, easy-to-pack jersey, and light scarves to drape over dresses on chilly evenings. This white button-down & jeans combo is my no-fail travel outfit: comfortable for the plane ride & chic enough to wear to dinner at our destination. Ombre scarf, Gap. Larissa shirt, Theory.
This breezy & sophisticated shirtdress would be perfect for touring wineries and lunching in the vineyard. A pair of tortoiseshell glasses gives a dose of instant glam. Shirtdress, Club Monaco.
Wedges are practically my uniform during the summer months due to their chic-meets-comfy versatility. Natural fibers infuse a dose of earthiness, and these go equally well with shorts and dresses. Alex Espadrille Wedge, Stuart Weitzman.
If I’m feeling a bit daring, I’ll throw on a fedora. Amazing how a hat can carry the simplest outfit into serious fashionista territory. Fedora, Tory Burch.
A classic leather tote is roomy enough to hold essentials for an entire day of sightseeing. This goes-with-everything bag feels so luxurious, and is sure to become a favorite for years to come. Tote, Tory Burch.
We’ll end our adventure in San Francisco, so I’ll want to turn up the volume for a festive night on the town. Okay, fine: maybe this knockout dress is a tad over-the-top for California… but a girl can dream, can’t she? Gwen Dress, J. Crew.
