Happy November! Since we’re all still dealing with costume and candy withdrawals, I (Claire) am dreaming up concepts for my next DIY to remind us that seasonal festivities are really just beginning. Since the upcoming holiday entertaining always calls for an abundance of wine, I thought… what better way to display a collection than with a custom-made wine rack that doubles as wall art? I cant wait to get started on this project, but first, I’d love to hear from all of you: Which of these three wine racks would you like to see interpreted and recreated? Pitch in your thoughts and ideas, and stay tuned for the reveal in two weeks!

  1. Supal says:

    I like the third one!

  2. Oh…definitely the third one! We need something like that for our dining room!

  3. I vote #3! #2 is my second vote. 🙂

  4. Erin {e} says:

    #2 is beautiful…functional and artistic.

  5. chris says:

really like them both, but maybe prefer the second one. Claire, i think you need to think about doing a book!

  6. Britney says:

I like the third! I wish the wood were a different color, but that is an afterthought.

  7. carolyn says:

the second! oh i love the natural shapes of the wood. eep, can’t wait to see which she decides!

  8. I personally like the first idea best! I’d love to make this for my home someday!

  9. Josh O. says:

#3 is eye-catching but slightly problematic if you are storing unfiltered wines; the lees will settle out in the neck and end up in the glass. Both #1 and #2 are great, I like both and my preference would end up being determined by the space I needed to put them in. #1 seems more functional and #2 more showy.

  10. Steve says:

    The third one please!

  11. Amy says:

#2 is my vote! I am already picturing what wall to put it on, but transposed.

  12. Kasper says:

I really like the first one, and I’m thinking about doing something like that at home. Thanks for the inspiration.

  13. Jonii says:

I’m probably too late for my vote to count… but I love #1 the best. It seems über modern to most people I’m sure but hoi could always make it softer and more traditional with materials and styling choices. It also makes the most sense for reasons space and capacity. So, yeah, #1 gets my (late) vote!

  14. Margaret says:

    Number 2!

  15. Claire Zinnecker says:

Wow! Such a variation of opinions! Makes it even more difficult for me to decide myself! Hope everyone is happy with the upcoming results!

  16. emily says:

    i like number 2!

  17. Kelly Atkinson says:

    #2!!! Love the wood!

  18. Kate W. says:

The second one! Love that rough wood, and not overly orderly placement of the holes.

  19. […] clairezinnecker Happy Thursday, everyone! Claire here, and you might recall two weeks ago when I asked for your opinions on which wine rack design I should create. Well it certainly wasn’t an easy decision, but […]

  20. The second is my favorite, although I don’t know if it will hold all of my husband’s wine! 😉 Definitely loving the raw-slab look. Perfect for beachy homes!

Great issues altogether, you simply gained a new reader. What might you suggest about your post that you simply made a few days ago? Any certain?
