Weekend Notes

Happy first day of February! It’s been grey and rainy here this weekend, and we’ve combatted the dreary weather with movies in front of the fireplace, a dutch baby pancake feast, and most of all, dreaming of our little getaway that’s coming up this week. Adam and I are taking off for a babymoon in Napa, and there’s something about knowing it will probably be our last trip with just the two of us for a long time that’s making me extra excited about it. I know, I know — Napa’s a bit of an unorthodox choice for a trip where I won’t be consuming more than a few sips of alcohol, but to me, there are very few spots on earth that are more relaxing. Plus, the amazing food, beautiful hiking and widely available spa treatments will undoubtedly make it a pretty heavenly spot for this pregnant gal. I’ll report back with some snapshots from the trip next week, and until then, enjoy a few of my favorite links from around the web lately!
