The Final Countdown

Spring Maternity Top & JeansCan y’all believe that I’m less than 3 weeks away from my due date? It seems like such a short time ago that I was announcing my pregnancy, and now that little bump has turned into the full-grown baby bump I’m sporting in today’s post. We’re so excited to welcome this new little guy into our family, and I’m finding myself daydreaming about what he’ll look like (me, perhaps? Phoebe was Adam’s doppelgänger when she was born), and what unique little personality traits he’ll have. Although it’s probably impossible to be 100% prepared for the change of having two kids under the age of 3, I feel like we’re as ready as we’ll ever be, so now it’s just a waiting game until he decides to make his appearance!

Spring Maternity Top & JeansI shared some of the challenges of maternity dressing in this post, and it definitely becomes even trickier to navigate towards the end of the third trimester, when the body is rapidly changing, the bump has stretched to its limits and items of clothing that fit mere weeks ago are suddenly too tight. You still want to feel your best and may need to purchase a couple new wardrobe items to carry you through, but it’s even more important in these last few weeks that they be versatile and affordable. Spring Maternity Top & Jeans

This woven top by Liz Lange for Target is my new favorite thing — I slipped it on and immediately fell in love with its breezy weight (any of you other pregnant gals hot ALL the time these days?) as well as the flattering way it skims over my bump: showing off my shape without clinging to it. It’s long enough to pair with my skinniest stretchy denim leggings for a streamlined look that can be dressed up with heels and a white blazer, or worn more casually on its own with flat sandals. And the springy abstract pattern feels super on-trend and makes it a top that I’d love to wear even if I weren’t pregnant.

Post a photo on social media and tag it with #BumpStyle – there’s no better way to get inspired for a chic pregnancy than seeing how others’ style has evolved during this time, so show us how you’ve been rocking this pregnancy. And stay tuned for updates around here… crossing fingers this babe decides to show up on time!Spring Maternity Top & Jeans
