As I am sitting here staring down my to do list and typing this post, I can’t help by daydream about a much needed day off! September has been chock full of super fun styling projects and blog collaborations, and I’ve been going non-stop these days! Not to mention, this growing bump seems to be depleting some of my usual energy stores! While I worked through much of last weekend, I made a pact with myself that this Saturday would be devoted to resting, relaxing and enjoying some of my favorite things!
My dream Saturday would include sleeping in until 9, an almond croissant from Proof Bakery, and then catching a late morning movie at the Vista Theatre with the hubs. While we usually tend to catch our flicks at the closer and uber chic Arclight (they have assigned seating that you can reserve when you buy your tickets online!), there’s something so nostalgic about the Vista. You sort of feel like you’ve wandered back in time to a small town… except with celebrity handprints out front!
My relaxing Saturday look consists of my favorite cotton Paige pants (the button of which is hanging on for dear life these days!), an easy chambray shirt, and a messenger bag that’s smaller and lighter than my usual carryall.
Anybody else already counting down the days until the weekend? I’d love to know what your dream Saturday looks like… I might even steal a few ideas for this weekend!
