Do you all have a go-to hair style for those mornings when you don’t feel like spending more than 90 seconds on your entire outfit? For me, a bun at the nape of my neck is always a safe bet, and even on days when I do put a lot of thought into my hair, it still always winds up in a low bun by lunch time. Which is why I’m excited for today’s tutorial in which Martha Lynn proves that my comfort hairdo has a slightly-more-glamorous (and a whole lot larger) big sister, and after seeing the super easy step-by-step, I’m not so afraid to give her a try. Follow the jump to see how it’s done!
- Start with hair in a classic ponytail. We chose to begin with a deep side part. Slide the mesh donut onto the ponytail, up around the elastic.
- Tease ponytail in sections to add texture, then spray each section.
- Roll sections inward, and tuck behind the mesh donut. Secure with bobby pins.
- Repeat with remaining ponytail sections all the way around the donut. Spray entire bun.
