Today’s installment of Pretty Simple is near and dear to my heart for two reasons: first, Michelle’s long locks are just the reinforcement I (Chanel) needed to resist all urges to cut my hair. And second, is anybody else instantly reminded of Princess Jasmine when they look at this picture? I don’t know about you all, but since seeing this completed look I’ve been dying to host a Disney movie night just to rewatch some of my childhood favorites (and maybe pick up some beauty tips while I’m at it). This look is super easy to acheive, and even if your hair isn’t 3 feet long, you can still totally rock it by just subtracting a few links. Keep reading for the step-by-step instructions and a list of the products you’ll need, all brought to us by Martha Lynn and photographed by Cory Ryan.

- Brush hair into a ponytail and secure with an elastic. For added volume, tease beforehand.
