Have any of you gotten started crafting some pumpkins yet? We’ve got one baby gourd perched on our front doorstep, but otherwise I’d say I’m a little behind in the fall decor department. I love a good carved pumpkin, but a rather unpleasant experience a few seasons back (as in, rain-meets-carved-pumpkin-while-we’re-out-of-town) left a not so great taste in my mouth — and stench in the air — in regards to the quintessential October craft. This year I’m loving the idea of some fun topical treatments, namely painting or decoupaging (the less invasive, the better). This week’s research has been strictly and extensively limited to the pumpkin decor category, so I thought I’d share with you all my 10 favorite project finds! Click through, and I’d love to know what Halloween crafts you all have on the agenda.

That ombre pumpkin is all sorts of amazing! Who wants to bet a blogger had a hand in that?
