Bar carts. We all love ’em. They’re a fabulous way to arrange your favorite glasses, a fine drop, or a bucket of ice. But for those of us who require spirits storage that’s a bit more substantial, I propose a bookcase! Cristina here, and there’s nothing I enjoy more than styling (and re-styling) a bookcase. Imagine the joy of lining up your vintage tumblers, champagne saucers, or a prized crystal carafe (but skip the glow sticks in vodka bottles)! A carefully curated bookcase would make a lovely fixture in the dining room, or a fun way to decorate for your next soiree! Keep reading for more ideas…

What a great post, and I second this idea because I did just that in my home! It’s such a great idea especially if you’re on a budget and want something unique. Here’s mine!

We love bar carts too, but more as a way to complement your main home bar. These repurposed bookcases are a great intermediate step if you don’t want to have stool seating, etc.

Like the industrial rustic style in the man cave at the top.

That bookshelf is great! Really displays the bottles as decor. I would never have thought of that!

I agree, they’re far too pretty to be kept in the cupboard!
