A few of my favorite moments from our family Easter brunch yesterday… Adam and I hosted at our house this year, and it was so fun getting to have both sets of parents, plus some of my favorite cousins/best friends, all together in one place. I made a couple of big frittatas with roasted vegetables, prosciutto and fresh mozzarella….
And we poured tons of mimosas and steaming cappuccinos. I tried these new crostini with asparagus, fresh ricotta and lemon zest, and they were such a hit that I just might have to dedicate a future Tuesday Tasting to them!
Rosemary-roasted potatoes are one of my favorite meals to serve for a crowd – everyone loves them, they work for my vegan friends’ diets and it’s an easy dish to make in big quantities. I also filled a wire basket with a big stack of coffeecake muffins, still warm from the oven.
The best part of the day was definitely the company – it’s so rare that we all take time to turn off our phones and put everything else on the agenda on hold just to spend quality time together, and a day like yesterday is a much-needed reminder of how soul-nourishing it is!
