Sayonara polar vortex…it’s officially spring! This kitchen really captures the best of what spring has to offer. Its window backsplash lets in bright light and a view of the outdoors, and the woven basket lights hint at beach days and the promise of summer. I’m looking forward to cooking with a different lineup of fruits and veggies, and enjoying the fact that my apartment is still filled with natural light when I get home from work. What are you most excited to embrace at home this spring?

Bamboo cloche — You could pay a large sum of money for a wired basket light fixture if you like, but I have seen some fantastic DIY projects that turned drugstore baskets into impressive light fixtures.

Pellegrino Limonata — As I’ve mentioned before, I like to keep Pellegrino bottles in my kitchen at all times simply for the pretty green bottle and its cool graphic packaging. For spring, switch things up by using Pellegrino’s Limonata bottles instead.

Stool — This kitchen just wouldn’t be the same without its mint stools.

Black & White Print — In my efforts to find a wicker cloche light fixture, I happened upon this print by Fernand Fonssagrives and its wonderfully widebrimmed straw hat situation. Hang this print anywhere to feel instantly ready for summer.

Hexagon Bottle Opener — I’ve already purchased one adorable bottle opener as a result of writing these posts, but I’m finding it very hard to resist the gold geometry of this one.

Glasses — Rose colored glasses, perfect for spring in more ways than one.

Wooden Tray — While I’d love to have wooden floorboards in my kitchen like the inspiration photo, there are other (easier) ways of incorporating the material into the room.

Cocktail Napkins — These Kelly Wearstler napkins have been pinned to my wishlist board for a while now, so it was only a matter of time before they showed up in a Bring It Home post.

Love the colors and feel of that kitchen. Many hate daylight savings, but I appreciate it everyday I get home and it’s still light outside. Thanks for sharing!

I’ve seen a lot of mint green in fashion (and nail polish, big trend!) but it’s a great idea to incorporate it in your home decor for spring and summer! LOVE the idea! xo

My mint nail polish is definitely one of my most worn colors!
