Wishing that Haven’s Kitchen would transport itself to Austin so I could shop, take classes and eat there all the time. Housed within an incredibly cool carriage house near Manhattan’s Union Square, this gourmet shop and cooking school is all about delicious, seasonal and sustainable food and has developed a loyal following among foodies who love to learn all about it. Have any of you NYC’ers been? I’d love to hear what you thought. And for those of us who can only live vicariously, they have a perfectly curated assortment of culinary products available online, brimming with some of my favorite things like Bellocq Tea, Mast Brothers Chocolate and Bonnie’s Jams. And I’m dying to try their best-selling granola. Keep reading for a few more gorgeous images of the space, and click over to their “pantry” to shop all the goodies. Hope you’re all having a lovely Sunday – I’m suddenly feeling the urge to do some major cooking!

Camille – Haven’s Kitchen is like a home away from home. It’s delicious & cozy… the perfect place for a coffee date the next time you’re in NYC. And, the staff is amazing too. 😉 Great post!

I took a class there last summer–the space is beautiful and the staff is very friendly. Plus they have a space for parties and weddings!

Wouldn’t it make the perfect wedding spot for a culinary-obsessed couple??

I’m teaching my first class at Haven’s Kitchen in April and am so excited about it. Definitely fell in love with the decor and kitchen the first time I went in. Seems like the ideal place to spend hours cooking and eating!
