Since Phoebe doesn’t turn one until August, this spring is full of “firsts” for us… it’s crazy to think that last Mother’s Day, she and I looked like this, and this year she is already crawling around and (her newest talent) waving “bye-bye!” It’s really been the most amazing year, and although motherhood does have its own unique set of challenges, it is by far the most fun and joyful thing I’ve ever experienced. Every day I wake up feeling so thankful for this baby girl, and I hope that I never ever ever take her for granted. Buff took these shots during the Mother’s Day Brunch shoot we styled for Hayneedle a few weeks ago, and it was fun getting to capture 3 generations of women (my mom and Adam’s mom, below) all around the table at once.
