Believe it or not, green actually used to be my least favorite color (crazy, I know), but lately I can’t seem to get it off my mind — especially this perfect grassy shade. After a few serious storms here in Texas over the last few weeks, it seems that all that was dead and dry from the scorching summer is suddenly revived and growing at a rapid rate in vibrant shades of emerald (making the accompanying mosquitos just a hair more bearable). When I came across this photo of Grace Kelly donning that stunning dress, I knew that a mood board honoring kelly green was in the cards, especially considering that it’s just a matter of time before the leaves all begin to turn orange, yellow and crimson. Since nothing brightens up a dish like fresh kale or spinach, and since it made a big splash at Fashion Week this year, this hue seems spot-on in every sphere of life right now, no?
