I’m posting our Monochromatic Monday a bit later than usual, due to this morning’s big announcement. I had to squeeze in one St. Patty’s day-inspired board before next weekend, and I love how this one infused a bit of romance and whimsy into a holiday that so often centers around more campy traditions (green beer, anyone?)
But enough about that – I’m dying to spill more details about the baby!!! I’m 16 weeks today, and Adam and I couldn’t be more thrilled and excited. My first trimester wasn’t too great (nothing extreme, just your typical morning sickness/food aversion/fatigue combo), but once I hit the 12 week mark, I suddenly felt like a new woman and have been full of energy ever since. It’s been so hard to keep it a secret from you guys and talk about everything but that over the last several weeks, since the pregnancy is obviously a lot of what’s been occupying my thoughts these days. So fun to finally be able to share it with all of you, and thanks to all of you who left sweet comments and tweets this morning wishing us well! It really does mean the world. Can’t wait to share more of this journey with you guys over the next several months, and no doubt I’ll be asking all you moms out there for some advice along the way. Just a couple more weeks until we can find out the sex… and guesses?
