Something many people don’t know about me: I have a mild obsession with carnivals. Though there’s never a bad time of year to head out for a day at the fair, when you combine the rickety rides & the oh-so-yummy foods with blazing hot weather and a beach, you’ve got a sure-fire recipe for the perfect summer day. Growing up, I’d count down to our family trips out to the Kemah Boardwalk, and since 2012, Texans have been soaking up the sun at Galveston Island’s Pleasure Pier… if you ask me, it just doesn’t get more quintessentially summer. Today’s inspiration board takes a cue from anything and everything boardwalk, summer, sand and fun. Here’s hoping it gets your week off to a lighthearted start!
