Last week I was putting in some long overdue Pinterest hours, when I came across this beautiful shot of ripe berries artfully arranged in crisp white cones, and I suddenly got the feeling. You know the one… when all your past summer memories come flooding in and you get butterflies thinking about all the outdoor fun in store? I spent the following couple days in a frenzy of pinning inspiration for a classic Memorial Day get together that’s both patriotic and the perfect kick-off to summer (repeatedly referring back to this inspiration board that Camille put together last year). Follow the jump for a glimpse at some of the inspirational images I found, and we’d love to hear what trends are hot on your Pinterest boards this time of year.

where should I look for the paper to make the cones for the blueberries and strawberries?

Plain old parchment paper from the grocery should work fabulously!
