This year, February 14th has two special meanings. One’s obvious, and the other is the final day of New York Fashion Week! Which are YOU more excited for? Cristina here, and I’ll give you one guess which one’s got my heart. If you love fashion as much as I do then it really is a shame keep it hidden in in your closets. We can’t all hang our clothes in the windows à la The Coveteur, but there are plenty of practical ways to display your favorite pieces throughout the home! Like placing statement jewelry under a bell jar or displaying seldom-worn stilettos on a bookshelf. Keep reading for more ideas to create a sartorial space!

A well-placed garment rack will display your chicest pieces that don’t see the light of day (or night) enough — you could always diy one!

Fashion photography and illustrations are works of art in their own right, you can frame pages of a magazine or buy prints — my favorite is Danny Roberts.

High heels look better than they feel. Place them atop a stack of books or magazines so you can appreciate them at eye level.

Everything looks prettier in a bell jar, try putting an evening clutch, a pair of sunglasses, or your favorite statement jewelry under one. You can switch them out when you feel like a change.

Records and their covers are another stylish multi-tasker.

Looking for a use for old perfume bottles? Fresh blooms should do the trick.

Vintage dress forms are a stylish way to store necklaces, belts and cross-body bags, I was inspired by The Glamourai’s take.

Genius! I love these ideas! It’s shame to keep all of your pretty (and expensive!) clothes hidden inside the closet.

Exactly! And often our most expensive pieces only get used on special occasions.

I so love all of those. I’d love to use that dress form for necklaces. I’m always looking for ways to infuse fashion with design. It’s too pretty to be stuck in a closet!!
