Happy Fourth, you guys! What do all of you have going on for the holiday? My mom dug out this Fourth of July moment, circa 1989, from a photo album last week…apparently I really liked to rock the over-the-top sunnies (more evidence here.) Now that I’m pregnant, looking at old family photos has a new layer of meaning as I can’t help wondering – will my daughter look like me when she’s that age? Will she inherit her dad’s green eyes… aunt’s cute nose… or uncle’s red hair? Guess that’s one surprise I’ll have to wait on. Anyhoo, back to the Fourth. Jenn put together an awesome playlist for you guys to enjoy all day today. It’s a rootsy, earthy mix of songs to make you feel patriotic, nostalgic, and glad that it’s summertime. Follow the jump to listen, and have a wonderful holiday!

What a nifty idea! I’m going to play this at our bbq today at home. Just found your blog through Style Me Pretty where your style was featured with other bloggers. I love your site!

Very cute! Do you know the name of the cursive font used? And where I can get it?
