This time of year, I’ll find any and every excuse to create a DIY that can be enjoyed outdoors. There’s nothing I love more than cozying up in the sun with a thrilling book, so I felt instantly inspired when Chanel suggested I make a bench for a backyard seating solution that’s perfect for just that! I’ve decided on wood for my main material, but I’d love your help concepting a design. Leave a comment below and tell me which of these benches you’d like to see recreated my way…

Ohhh, I love the time-worn look of Option 1 and the modern clean lines of Option 3. Can’t wait to see how this one turns out!

I’m also a vote for the first bench. I love the natural look- but I could definitely see it with a pop of color. Be it the legs dipped in a bright color or the edges painted to give it a sexy look. Now- I’m thinking of a bench project! Lol
