Thank goodness it’s Saturday… anyone else in desperate need of a day to hit the slow down button on life and take a bit of a reprieve from the nonstop to-do’s of the workweek? I’ve got brunching, baking, and closet organization on my agenda, and since it looks like temps are hitting the 90’s today, our poolside chairs are calling my name after a winter of being apart. I should also mention that the countdown has officially begun for a couple of big happenings: I turn 30 in just over 3 weeks, and a couple days after that, Adam and I are taking off for St. Tropez to celebrate 5 years of being married (can hardly believe it’s been that long!) If you follow me on Pinterest, you’ll probably see lots of outfit and travel planning over the next couple of weeks as I dream of the South of France (while I should be working), but isn’t the anticipation half the fun of a vacation? Hope you all have a beautiful Saturday, and keep reading for more about this “Mexican Minimalist” Cinco de Mayo shoot, and (as always) my favorite links from the week! 2 of 6
Our talented friends over at Rosehip Flora created this “Mexican minimalist” party (captured by Julie Cope) in honor of Cinco de Mayo. The inspiration was a simple Mexican brunch with a few great girl friends, and as with our Entertaining With feature earlier this week, it’s further proof that a great Cinco de Mayo fête doesn’t require loud colors and tequila shots.
