Whew. What a week. It seems like I was just savoring the Thanksgiving holiday, then 2 photo shoots, 15 blog posts and a zillion emails later… hello, weekend. But before I become one of those people who constantly talk (brag?) about how busy they are… happy December! Are y’all feeling full of the holiday spirit yet? We decorated our tree last weekend and every day I’ve been lighting a fire (despite the 75 degree temps) and blasting Christmas music while we work. It definitely feels extra special this year since it’s Phoebe’s first, and I’m really hoping to slow down a bit this month and enjoy the special moments: catching up with friends at a cookie swap tomorrow, braving the crowds for holiday shopping (that’s actually in stores, not on my computer!), and singing classic carols to P for the first time. She’s the only one who seems to appreciate my singing voice, after all! How do you guys savor the season in the midst of all the busyness? I’d love to hear your tips for slowing down and having more fun. Remember when it was one of my resolutions for 2012? Yikes, only 31 more days to work on that one!
