Summer Crush Cocktail shot by Wynn Myers | Camille StylesIn the summertime, I usually serve my drinks as simple as the laid-back vibe of the season: agave margaritas, tequila mixed with grapefruit juice, or prosecco, straight up. But the party I threw for Mark and Graham a few weeks ago (with lots of my very favorite girls in attendance) was definite cause for stepping up my game, so I came up with the recipe for this Summer Crush that combines some of my favorite ingredients of the season. I received so many “You’re sharing this recipe on your blog, right?!” comments that I figured I’d better. Keep reading for it, and would love to hear any ideas you all have for simple and delicious summer cocktails!

Summer Crush

*serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 3 peaches, peeled and sliced (plums or nectarines would be great, too)
  • 1 large bunch of basil, stems discarded
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 3/4 cup gin
  • 3/4 cup Lillet
  • 1/2 cup light agave syrup
  • ice
  • club soda

Instructions:

In a large pitcher, muddle the fruit with the basil and lime juice. Add the gin, Lillet and agave. Stir well, then pour into 4 glasses filled with ice. Top with club soda, and garnish with extra basil leaves.

Hey ladies – this is the arm of the lovely Kate LeSueur… and I agree, her watch is fab! I’ll see if I can get her to fill us in. 😉

Hey Ladies! The designer is Daniel Wellington. I recently saw them at Stag (a men’s store in Austin, if you live locally) – otherwise you can easily order them online 🙂 Happy shopping! x

Amazing….can’t wait to try! What about a Cherry Smash? My friend made it with fresh cherries and maybe you can use mint instead of lime juice.

  7. Stephanie says:

Also can you tell me style name of watch? I like the size and can’t tell if its the lady or men’s version plus there are a few style names to choose too! Thanks!
