So thrilled to announce a brand-new series from our longtime collaborator, Ash! In her monthly Food & Flowers posts, she’ll be showing us how to use the season’s edible bounty as inspiration for gorgeous floral creations. Today’s arrangement is especially near to my heart, as it was sent with love…to me! Adam and I celebrated our third wedding anniversary last week, and of course he knew exactly who to turn to for a stunning arrangement incorporating surprise elements. This beauty, overflowing with coral peonies (my fave), viburnum and blueberries arrived on my doorstep…scoring major points for the hubs. And lucky for us, Ash is here to share her inspiration…
There’s just something about sinking my teeth into ripe, juicy blueberries that gets my creative juices flowing, making me want to create the most luscious and overgrown summer arrangement. Coral charm peonies peek through variegated ivy, bright green viburnum, white scabiosa, scented English lavender, greens cut from my garden and blueberry branches, making up the most wonderful creation. I just want to eat it!
