Sunshine and Saturdays are two of our favorite things. So when you put those together and add in hundreds of our Austin readers, well, we’d call that a pretty great day. This past weekend we all met up at The Long Center for a morning barre class with MOD Fitness, a relaxing meditation led by Kate Waitzkin, and a wellness panel featuring a few pretty inspiring girls. After working up an appetite, we snagged some treats from Blenders & Bowls, Juice Society, Chameleon Cold Brew, and Snap Kitchen before shopping the Outdoor Voices popup shop. Keep reading to check out highlights from the day and see if you can spot yourself in any photos. We had so much fun hanging out with our digital community IRL!

Post Cinco de Mayo, we all resisted the urge to hit the snooze button and instead made our way downtown for a fun morning focused on wellness.

Hundreds of our Austin readers rolled out their yoga mats on the terrace of The Long Center for a barre class with the best view of the Austin skyline.

The MOD Fitness girls kicked our butts with a hardcore barre workout, complete with cardio bursts. Our legs are still sore…but we’ll be thanking them come swimsuit season.

We lucked out with perfect Austin weather. Squats aren’t so bad when it’s sunny and 75 outside.

To keep us motivated between planks and lunges, DJ Alfa Leone was spinning some of our favorite beats.

About half of our group had never participated in a barre workout before, but we have a feeling they’ll be hooked after this.

We always feel so inspired by our ever-growing Austin wellness community. You go, girls (and guys)!

It’s true what they say – the endorphins are worth it!

Next, our favorite yogi Kate Waitzkin led a five minute guided meditation to cool us all down after our upbeat barre class.

We focused on rhythmic breathing and set our intentions for the day ahead.

Then, Camille hosted a wellness panel featuring Marnie Duncan, owner of MOD Fitness; Kelly Krause, author of our Living Kindly series; and Danielle Sobel, owner of Juice Society. We learned about each of their wellness journeys and snagged some tips for living a balanced life.

During social hour, guests got to shop at the Outdoor Voices popup shop. OV just launched their new kits, which are perfect for #DoingThings.

We rehydrated with cold pressed juices from Juice Society. Their new Spring flavor contains a super secret ingredient called butterfly pea flower!

For those of us missing our morning coffee, Chameleon Cold Brew was on-site to deliver a little caffeine kick straight from their kegerator bike.

We finished up snack time with mini acai bowls from Blenders & Bowls and slaw salad from Snap Kitchen. Our tastebuds have never been happier.

We created fun props for guests to play with while taking photos in the Vannagram & Co. photo bus.

This year we made the cutest pink #GetHealthyGetTogether hats for all of our attendees. We can’t wait to see you guys rocking these all over town.

After sweating and socializing, we sent everyone home with a swag bag full of goodies, including SkinnyPop popcorn, EPIC jerky, Snap Kitchen dark chocolate, Pangea Organics lotion, a Chameleon Cold Brew koozie, a $20 gift card to Outdoor Voices, and a pink #GetHealthyGetTogether hat.

Thank you to everyone who made this event such a success. We’ll see y’all next year for the third annual #GetHealthyGetTogether!
