As much as I love dreaming up the perfect party theme and spending hours crafting all the little details…the holiday season is way too busy for me to DIY everything! I was so excited when my friends at Minted gave me the scoop on their new line of party decor suites full of all the decorative details to make holiday soirées, birthdays and other special occasions unforgettable. Created by indie designers, the collections include customizable (!!) banners, signs, confetti, centerpieces, stickers, cupcake toppers and more… all printed on super luxe paper. I flipped when I laid eyes on the fresh, sophisticated selections covering such a wide array of themes and events, and I’m super excited to unveil the first party that we’ve styled around one of them! I chose the Glitter Bling collection for a girly and glam holiday cocktail party full of sweet treats and bubbly cocktails. Click through to see how we styled it, and be sure to hop over to Minted.com to peruse their full line of party decor. If you see something you love, now’s the time to scoop it up – today just happens to be Cyber Monday, and Minted’s offering free shipping, 15% off holiday cards (code: CYBER2012) + a whopping 25% off everything else (code: CYBER25)!

This holiday party is a bit deeper and more dramatic than the norm… no Rudolph noses or candy canes at this soirée! Think bold graphic elements like chevron and stripes mixed with moody black and glam pops of gold.

This cute little sign is the perfect way to welcome guests and let them know – ’tis the season to party!

A cocktail party with the girls calls for bubbly, and mini bottles of Freixenet are extra festive with striped straws – the perfect sips to greet guests as they arrive!

Simple place settings go bold when layered with gold chargers and graphic black and white plates. Fluffy “snow,” a modern white reindeer sculpture and unfussy flowers in a dramatic gold vessel create a striking centerpiece.

A tiny wreath crafted from gold jingle bells is a festive way to help guests find their seats. These pretty place cards come ready to go – just write each guest’s name in gold ink.

Dress up a dessert buffet with this chic little “Sweets” sign and decorative accessories in a modern chevron print. All that’s left to do is add the indulgent elements – in this case, macarons in complementary hues, dark chocolate cupcakes with sparkly frosting, and perfectly sophisticated madeleines.

These garlands are genius and take all the work out of personalizing a buffet backdrop. Simply type in the words you’d like it to say and voila! Your very own bunting message arrives in the mail ready to hang.

Scallop-edged “Joy” stickers stuck onto glassine bags make instant vessels for chic favors and desserts to-go. We packed ours with macarons and other treats for post-party snacking.

Toast the season with drink flags inscribed with a festive message. In addition to individual bottles of bubbly, they look great popped into any kind of specialty cocktail or nonalcoholic punch.

An added benefit to Minted’s party decor suites? They all have coordinating invitations and thank-you cards for a seamless, beautiful party look from start to finish. Hop on over to browse them all, but be prepared: you won’t be able to resist hosting a soirée of your own this season!

Don’t forget that today only, Minted’s offering free shipping, 15% off holiday cards (code: CYBER2012) + 25% off everything else (code: CYBER25)!
