Why do girly drinks get such a bad rap? I do my best to order no-frills cocktails at the bar, but every now and then nothing tastes better than berries and sugar and flowers in a glass (and even some the manliest men I know would agree!). Today’s cocktail is something of a cross between a Sonic slushy, your favorite fresh mojito, and of course, bubbly — all the ingredients needed for indulging with girlfriends and keeping cool during these dog days of summer. Keep reading for the recipe, and enjoy!

These look delicious… not to mention the perfect way to use up fresh berries that can be found everywhere this summer. Although I can’t enjoy the alcohol right now (apparently that’s a no-no when pregnant – ha 🙂 I’ll definitely be experimenting with a refreshing non-alcoholic version of this over the weekend!
