Happy (almost) Fourth of July! If you were following along last year, you might remember me waxing poetic about my great love for this most patriotic of holidays. It’s such a stress-free, no fuss holiday… and any celebration that requires meals on the grill, adult beverages and the great outdoors is fine by me! We are in the middle of a major heat wave here in Los Angeles, so I’ve been finding creative ways to stay put-together without feeling like I’m melting. And since it can be a challenge to sit on a picnic blanket or play a game of bocce ball in my usual summer dresses, lately I’ve been loving a good romper for a playful alternative!
This one is from Topshop and I love how structured and preppy it feels. It could easily go from picnic to brunch to baby shower without missing a beat. You might remember these shoes from this post — I’m not ashamed to say that they are in constant rotation in my wardrobe!
