Earlier today I shared some of the highlights from my SXSW panel on The Future of Lifestyle Media…but since South By is definitely as much about partying as it is serious discussions, I couldn’t resist sharing a few shots from that evening’s raucous Fiesta at my house! One of my fave sponsors Electrolux teamed up with me to throw the party, and it was a total feast of great beats by DJ Johnny Bravvo, spicy food from La Condesa, the most amazing pineapple & agave margaritas (not a good night to be pregnant!), and gorgeous blooms arranged by The Byrd Collective. Even though it was cold and rainy out, the bloggers, brand reps and tech gurus came out in droves, and thankfully we covered the terrace with a tent wall and loads of patio heaters that kept it feeling cozy. Keep reading for more photos, shot by She-n-He Photography…

The tacos were to-die-for, and I love how La Condesa served them on these cute little bamboo plates holding individual servings of beans, rice and fresh pico. Stay tuned for next week’s Tuesday Tasting, ’cause the chef was awesome enough to share his signature Picadillo Taco recipe with us!

Two things I am totally envying… Your kitchen appliances and your gorgeous pregnancy style! My maternity clothing was not nearly so sophisticated. Maybe if we have round 2 🙂

Thanks Jessa – that is so sweet, especially since I’m feeling like my belly gets bigger everyday! I haven’t started wearing actual maternity clothes yet, but am definitely loving the items in my closet that have breezy empire waists. This green dress worked perfectly. 🙂

One year my husband had an extended business trip in Texas so he flew me to Austin for Valentine’s Day. We had our Valentine’s dinner at La Condesa. It was a lovely meal. This post brought back such romantic memories for me! Your house is beautiful, btw.

Sounds like a wonderful time! We weren’t around for SXSW this year but would love to experience it.

I notice your range in one of the pictures. I’m in full design mode for our home and am wondering what your range is and if you like it. I like the classic look and like that it has stainless knobs. It looks similar to the one we had in our last home. Do you mind sharing?
