10 Ideas for Throwing the Best Ever Royal Wedding Watch Party

By Jenn Rose Smith

I’ll never forget the night before Will and Kate’s wedding. I was pulling another late night at the ad agency I worked for, and mentioned to a co-worker that I had to get up super early the next day to watch the wedding live. “I can’t believe you’re actually getting up to watch that,” he scoffed. “I can’t believe you’re NOT,” I replied without a hint of irony, and received a big laugh from the room. Like all of my best jokes, it wasn’t a joke at all. Fortunately I’m now in a work environment that understands the importance of such events, and we’re already placing our bets on what style of dress Meghan will wear. I’m predicting a big nod to Diana — so maybe taffeta, a puff sleeve, or cathedral length veil. Scroll down for ten fun ideas on how to host the best ever royal wedding watch party, and don’t be afraid to get super into it. It’s a ROYAL WEDDING for Pete’s sake! We should all have the day off, right?
