I (Chanel) feel like I haven’t quite expressed to you all how much I love breakfast. Carving out time for a hearty morning meal every day of the week (and often, for multiple meals per day) is always a priority of mine, but something about waking up slow on Sunday and putting together an elaborate breakfast is special above all. So it’s no wonder that when I was flicking through the photos of my new favorite photog, Krista Keltanen, these beautiful breakfast shots stopped me in my tracks and inspired my own European-style breakfast for this morning. Lemon curd, english muffins, piping hot tea with a splash of milk, of course, plus a side of fresh fruit… is this sounding heavenly to anyone else? If you’ve got time to spare today, I highly recommend taking a moment to put together the kind of breakfast that will keep you energized throughout the day. And if you’ve got more time after that, you’ve just got to head over to Krista Keltanen’s site to peruse more of her stunning photography.

Mmmmm, I do love lingering over a tasty breakfast. This one is beautiful, and absolutely perfect for a Sunday.

I would love to make a hearty breakfast like this more often! Usually I grab a yogurt and head to work, but I love the thought of a healthy, morning ritual. There’s something so satisfying about taking the time to start your day right.

Love Krista’s shot of those macaroons from Friday – cute!

    Thanks, Chanel.

European breakfasts are my absolute favorite. I was just in Europe not too long ago and I miss it dearly.

Thank you for taking me to memory lane!
