Easy cinnamon baked apples are a sweet, tender, and healthy dessert that the whole family will love.

- 3 medium to large apples (Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, or Honeycrisp)
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Pinch kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon butter, chopped into small pieces
For serving: Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Core apples, then slice thinly (about 12 slices per apple.)
- Add apple slices to an 8 x 8” baking dish or pie plate, and top with lemon juice, water, sugar, honey, cinnamon, cornstarch, and salt. Toss to combine, then scatter butter pieces over top.
- Tent with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!
