Description

This simple matcha latte recipe is the coziest drink to add to your morning ritual.


Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1/2 to 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1/4 cup hot water
  • 1/4 cup warmed milk (use your milk of choice here!)
  • Optional: pinch of salt
  • Optional: maple syrup, honey, stevia, your sweetener of choice

Instructions

  1. Sift matcha powder to eliminate lumps.
  2. Spoon sifted powder into a mug and add hot water. Quickly whisk in a zig-zag motion until frothy—about 30 seconds.
  3. Pour in milk, sweetener, and/or salt and whisk again.
  4. Taste, adjust to your liking if needed, and enjoy!
