- 1/2 to 1 teaspoon matcha powder
- 1/4 cup hot water
- 1/4 cup warmed milk (use your milk of choice here!)
- Optional: pinch of salt
- Optional: maple syrup, honey, stevia, your sweetener of choice
Instructions
- Sift matcha powder to eliminate lumps.
- Spoon sifted powder into a mug and add hot water. Quickly whisk in a zig-zag motion until frothy—about 30 seconds.
- Pour in milk, sweetener, and/or salt and whisk again.
- Taste, adjust to your liking if needed, and enjoy!
