An easy strawberry matcha smoothie perfect for spring mornings.


Ingredients

Units Scale

for the matcha layer:

  • 1 banana, chopped and frozen
  • 12 teaspoons ceremonial matcha
  • 1/2 cup yogurt of choice
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1 cup milk of choice, more or less as needed
  • pinch of salt

for the strawberry layer:

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk, frozen
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla (optional)
  • 1 cup milk of choice, more or less as needed
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Prep the first smoothie layer. Blend in a high-power blender and pour into glass.
  2. Prep the second smoothie layer. Blend in a high-power blender and pour as a layer over the first smoothie. Enjoy cold!
