The Bachelor Contestants Group Costume

By Carmen Collins
Genius idea for the easiest (and funniest) group costume ever!

Can we all just admit that we secretly watch “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” in the comfort of our own homes? From traveling across the world for exotic dates to intense cat fight drama, the producers really know how to keep us interested. This Halloween, we were inspired by America’s guiltiest pleasure and created an easy DIY costume that involves all your closest friends. All you need is a tube of lipstick, lots of mascara, and a dozen red roses.

THE OUTFITS:

There’s no need to go out and purchase new clothes for this costume. Our girls wore formal dresses and a pair of heels that they already had in their closets. We suggest choosing a floor length gown or something with a little sparkle to stay on theme. Throw on some over-the-top costume jewelry to complete the outfit.

THE DETAILS:

The gals went with bold hair and makeup looks in hopes of catching the Bachelor’s eye. Red lips, big curls, and tons of hairspray seemed to do the trick. Unfortunately, Camille and Chanel didn’t receive roses, so we illustrated their tearful reactions by smearing mascara all down their cheeks!

THE PROPS:

To complete this look pick up a dozen red roses for the lucky girls moving on in the competition, and some tissues for the girls being sent home. Our bachelorette costume can include as many or as few girls as you’d like. All that’s left is asking your friends, “Will you accept this rose?”
