The holidays just scream overindulgence, don’t they? It sounds crazy, but I’m almost at the breaking point where I’d be happy to not see another hors d’oeuvre or glass of wine for a very long time. As I attempt to turn the celebrating down just a few notches over the next couple of days, I figured I’d need some way to preserve my unfinished vino. These DIY crystal bottle stoppers took almost no time to make, and look super pretty atop a fancy bottle of bubbly or wine. (they’d also make perfect hostess gifts for this weekend’s New Year’s fêtes!) Wanna make your own? Follow the jump for instructions!
Thanks Lulu! The twine is a decorative accent that will hide any dried hot glue that might seep out from under the rock. So glad you’re going to give these a try! xx
I am SO doing this!!!! They are easy, gorgeous and def great hostess gifts. Awesome idea!!!
These are totally stellar.
These are great!! I can’t wait to make some. I’m just wondering what the twine is for?
Thanks.

Could you use super glue instead of hot glue?
I went to hobby lobby and saw the corks, but there are about 3 different sizes (2, 6, 10). Which size should I get?
Just came across this post, LOVE it. But curious what size cork you used as there are several different sizes to choose from?
