Thanks to a jam-packed morning of planning meetings, last-minute projects and a lunch date with my friend Erika, today’s Monochromatic Monday was a bit late out of the gate…but once I started pulling images, the cares of the day melted away as I lost myself in an autumnal utopia. Since I’m not usually a fan of the classic black-and-orange palette for Halloween, I gravitate towards softer harvest-y color combos that are just as festive. This board started with the idea of multicolored heirloom pumpkins…and before I was done, I’d incorporated falling leaves, spiced cider, cinnamon sticks and mounds of crispy apples to form an absolute smorgasbord of autumn flavors. I think this would be pretty fabulous inspo for a dinner party right about now, don’t you?
By the way, if you’re still planning for Halloween fêtes, don’t miss last week’s trick-or-chic board!

I’m so glad to know that I am not the only one who doesn’t like the typical Halloween colors! Fall colors are just so warm and relaxing. I agree- such a great palette for a dinner party! I hope you had a great day!
Gorgeous inspirational board! Loving fall right now and have been adding apples to almost everything…salads and drinks.
Yum!! I agree, ’tis the season for apples. Did you see Jess’ amazing recipe for apple chips last week? http://camillestyles.com/2011/10/13/the-perfect-bite-apple-chips/
I can’t wait to make them!
Im loving this board as well! This time of year s so much fun! I’m inspired to go have a cup of apple cider. :). Can’t wait to see the details of your husband’s birthday party….
Love the idea of spiced popcorn in a brown paper bag like that!
I know – totally steal-worthy!
I can’t get enough of oranges and reds right now as well! I think they transition perfectly from summer to autumn, as I’ve said in my latest blog post:

Thank you for providing inspiration and joy each morning, all the way across the Atlantic!

For now, I have some city slicker shiny pumpkins, and then I will share some simpler hippie style pumpkins for the front door.
It is quite cozy around here.
Cheers! -Teri
How do you make these boards? Do you use photoshop?
Yep – I’m a photoshop fanatic! 🙂
