Ah yes, New Years Eve… the perfect last-hoorah to a season of ceaseless wining and dining. And though I’m not sure when it became customary to don sparkles and sequins and glitter (oh my), I have to wonder if there could possibly be a better tradition. So, this afternoon I thought I’d share some of my favorite tinselly ideas with all of you to get in the festive mood. I absolutely love the simple ways that these metallics can be used to turn up the glam, and best of all, you probably have some tinsel laying around from your holiday decor (and if not, it’s way discounted in stores!) Keep reading for my favorite images, and I’d love to know…. How do you plan to incorporate some glitz into your NYE?

Love them all! The tinsel dandelion stir stick is so fun, and that chandelier? Wow.

LOVE me some sparkles. I adore the first image with the pink over the quatrefoil grate.

Yes, New Years. I spend it with my friends dancing. We all dress classy, we have gold balloons, listen to jazz and such…it is brilliant.
